Solo recitals in Israel
After a successful first recital together in Media-tech Holon on January, last week I once again joined forces with IPO trumpet player Eran Re'emi and pianist Alex Gruzberg in a concert of various eras and styles. This is time in my home town, Lod.
Together we played Boris Blacher's Divertimento, and Bolivar by Erik Cook (originally for trombone solo).
I have performed a Ballade by Bozza, Marcello Cello sonata in F (a debut performance on a Sackbut, made by Christian Bosc) and Haram by Ziv Slama, a newly commissioned solo piece in its Israeli premiere (after its international premiere in Athens on last September).
Next recitals are planned to take part in June, in Jerusalem and in Kibbutz Bar'am,
