Principal Trombone player of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra since 2012, Nir Erez is also the Trombone Professor in the Buchmann-Mehta school of Music in Tel Aviv and the Jerusalem Academy of Music.

Started his musical education at the age of 10 in his hometown of Lod, the Israeli Trombonist has studied over the years with Daniele Moranidini, Micha Davis, Yigal Meltzer, Ian Bousfield and Joe Alessi. 

Currently living in Tel Aviv, he is an ethusiastic practitioner of Iyengar Yoga and spends much of his time combining between the two worlds of Music and Yoga.
